Loss. Grief. Hope.

Three stories. One hope.

When the world was overcome by fear and loss, Christ remained their hope.

Loss. Grief. Hope. is a testimonial short film that bears witness to sorrow—and to the redemption found beyond it. The film follows three women who each lost their husbands during the COVID-19 pandemic, confronting isolation, unanswered questions, and profound grief in a season marked by uncertainty and fear.

Through their stories, the film does not rush past pain, nor does it offer shallow consolation. Instead, it quietly centers on the hope they found in Christ’s salvation—a hope not rooted in circumstance, but in the unchanging promise of eternal life. Their testimonies reveal faith forged in loss, sustained not by explanations, but by truth.

Produced as part of Birchman Baptist Church’s large-scale annual Christmas production, the film was experienced by thousands across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Designed specifically for a 60 ft. ultra-wide 4K LED display, the project combined cinematic storytelling with immersive scale, allowing deeply personal stories of grief and gospel hope to unfold in a way that was both intimate and visually expansive.
